JOCKEY PUMPS

Fire sprinkler jockey pumps suffer from hammer, use a lot of energy and take up a lot of space. Grifen jockey pumps resolve all these issues and save a lot of money by using a more suitable pump as prescribed by EN12845.

A wall mounted fire sprinkler jockey pump designed to;

  • Elliminate jockey hammer
  • Low flow
  • Full flow or further restriction
  • Controls indication
  • No flood risk
  • Includes control valves
  • Saves energy

These pumps are available from 4 bars to 16 bars. They produce appriximately 1/3 flow of vertical multistage pumps. The pump can be set to run on for a few seconds to totally erradicate hammer and prolong pump and contols life.

Due to these contols, failure is much less likely, reducing the chance of fire pumps starting and the fire service being called, saving valuable call out costs or worse.
